Hi there,

Club players miss out a lot by NOT going over the chess classics.

It sounds like a simple task, but only 10% or fewer players actually do that. Classic games are a never-ending source of wisdom and ideas, that you can easily transfer onto the board. You might be working on openings, tactics, and endings. But to truly reach your potential you got to include Maestro game analysis into your training.

It will greatly improve your fundamental understanding of the game, the KEY characteristic of a chess player.

That’s what makes it so effective.

And the game-by-game analysis of this historic Tal - Botvinnik Match presented by GM Jesse Kraai - will work perfectly!

What is it about?

In 1960 Mikhail Botvinnik was the pillar of "scientific chess" and champion of the world. Then a young genius, Mikhail Tal, the "Wizard of Riga", put the magic back in the game by defeating Botvinnik with spectacular tactics in one of the most dramatic and celebrated world championship matches of all time.

This was just the beginning of a historic rivalry that was to last for half a century. These historic games are clearly analyzed by Grand Master Jesse Kraai, who then presents a game from his own.

What other chess player say:

  • Thanks Jesse for another superb lecture. It is of additional value because it demonstrates one of the lines suggested in your opening repertoire for white. Would you please consider presenting more games illustrating high-level play in some of the more unusual lines you recommend for club player as white.
